Description

Employment Law is a 1-day training course held here at Somerset College in Taunton. This dynamic training course offers delegates the opportunity to work alongside professionals from other businesses, giving the opportunity to gain from group experiences.

This popular course offers line managers and others alike an overview of key employment law essentials as well providing delegates with a sound understanding of the legal background to Performance, Discipline, Grievance and Absence Management. You will also learn how to use good practice in handling a variety of employment issues.

If you are new to Human Resources or a first time line manager, this course will help you get to grips with the fundamentals of practical employment law.

Group sizes are normally between 8 and 12 delegates; this helps to maximise on the personal support given to each individual person. Courses run between 9.30 and 16.30 with lunch and refreshments provided on the day. Delegates are able to keep their full course manual for future reference.
